MADI Issoufi was elected President of SIDEVAM 976 following the installation ceremony of the new union committee, held on May 16 in Mayotte.

As head of the union, he will be responsible for setting the major strategic directions related to the collection, treatment, and sustainable management of waste, in a context where environmental challenges are growing. This new term aims to strengthen the efficiency of the public service and meet the expectations of both local authorities and residents.

Prior to this election, MADI Issoufi worked in the engineering and technical management sector. He held management positions within SPL 976, a company specializing in architecture, engineering, and technical control in Mayotte.

In this capacity, the President led and oversaw several projects related to land-use planning and infrastructure. This experience allowed him to develop skills in project coordination, organization, and the management of public and private stakeholders.
