Karim Attoumani Mohamed has been appointed Managing Director of Yas Fibre Comoros, according to an announcement by the AXIAN Group.

A recognized professional in the telecommunications sector, Karim Attoumani Mohamed has nearly twenty years of experience in information and communication technologies. His career is marked by strong expertise in regulation, digital governance, and telecom infrastructure management.

Prior to this appointment, he worked for nearly ten years at Yas Comoros (TelCo) SA. There, he held several positions of responsibility, including Director of Regulation, Legal Affairs, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), and Data Protection Officer. In this role, he worked on matters related to regulatory compliance, data protection, and relations with public authorities.

As head of Yas Fibre Comoros, Mohamed’s mission will be to continue the deployment of fiber optics across the entire country, improve network quality, and strengthen access to digital services.
