Rado Rabarilala has been appointed CEO of Madagascar Airlines.
A trained pilot and former union representative at the now-defunct Air Madagascar, he takes the helm of the national airline after a career marked by his commitment to staff and the defense of working conditions in the Malagasy aviation sector.
This executive becomes the fourth CEO of Madagascar Airlines, amidst a period of restructuring and financial recovery.
The airline faces increased regional competition and significant operational challenges, including fleet modernization and optimization of the domestic network. The authorities hope that his technical and social expertise will help restore the confidence of employees and passengers, while ensuring improved overall performance for the national carrier.
