Yannick Mulundu Nzondé has been appointed CEO of SOKIMO (Société Minière de Kilo-Moto), one of the leading mining companies in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
At 38, this young entrepreneur and philanthropist is taking the helm of a company of strategic importance to the country.
Originally from the DRC and having grown up partly in South Africa, Yannick Mulundu Nzondé embarked on his entrepreneurial journey at a young age.
He founded Mulundu Investments and Holdings, a business development and consulting firm working with multinational corporations and investors. His career has earned him a place among Forbes magazine’s Top 30 Promising Young Africans, highlighting his talent and influence.
In addition, the new CEO is actively involved in philanthropy. As co-founder of ATI Congo Group, he supports projects for the economic and social development of the DRC.
At SOKIMO, Nzondé’s mission will be to modernize mining operations, particularly in gold and diamonds, and to strengthen the company’s competitiveness.
