Pierre Le Run has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Union Internationale de Banques (UIB), effective April 1, 2026. He succeeds Philippe Dubois, who will soon be taking on a new role within the Société Générale Group.
Pierre Le Run has over 25 years of experience in the banking sector. He began his career at KPMG Audit, then joined Société Générale’s General Inspection department in 1997. For seven years, he held the positions of Deputy Inspector and then Head of Mission, with extensive international experience. Le Run then spent fifteen years in management roles in retail and corporate banking, in France and Egypt, notably within NSGB and the Société Générale network.
In 2019, the new CEO joined SOGECAP as Director of International Development, and later as Director of Client Relations for Property and Casualty Insurance. Since October 2025, he had been Director of Strategy at UIB, actively participating in the bank’s transformation and development.
A graduate in International Corporate Finance from EDHEC Business School, Pierre Le Run brings to UIB extensive experience, a strategic vision, and recognized expertise in the international banking sector.
