Dylis Cedras has been appointed Managing Director of the Enterprise Seychelles Agency (ESA).

She holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of the West of Scotland and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from the University of London. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration at the University of Seychelles.

Cedras has nearly 17 years of experience in the public and tourism sectors. She began her career in 2008 as a secondary school teacher with the Ministry of Education. From 2012 to 2013, she worked at the Seychelles Islands Foundation (SIF) as Director of the Visitor Center and Sales. From 2014 to 2015, she held the position of Business Analyst at the Financial Services Authority, before returning to SIF where she held various sales and marketing roles. She was then promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing from 2021 to 2023.

Since 2023, the new Director General has overseen trade and tourism at SIF, leading commercial and tourism activities at national heritage sites. Her appointment to the ESA reflects her solid expertise and in-depth knowledge of the public and tourism sectors, enabling her to lead the agency and strengthen the country’s economic development.
