CIEL is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark van Beuningen as its Group Strategy & Investment Executive, effective May 1, 2024. In his new capacity, Mark will be responsible for overseeing the Group’s corporate and investment strategy, leveraging existing strengths while propelling new growth initiatives forward.
Mark joins CIEL from his previous role as Group CEO of CIM Financial Services Ltd. With over a decade of executive leadership and strategic management experience, he has consistently delivered shareholder value throughout his career.
His tenure at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a strategic consultant has equipped him with invaluable expertise in strategy formulation, operational enhancement, and value creation across diverse industries. Moreover, his hands-on experience as a CEO further enriches his strategic capabilities. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cape Town, complemented by an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
