Canal+ has announced the appointment of Aziz Diallo as General Manager of Pay TV for French-speaking Africa. In this position, the new General Manager will report directly to David Mignot, General Manager of Canal+ Africa.

With an impressive track record, Aziz Diallo is a graduate of the National Polytechnic Institute of Yamoussoukro in engineering and holds a master’s degree in strategic management from HEC. His professional career began in 2004 at Alcatel, before continuing in 2007 at Greenwich Consulting, where he held the role of senior consultant. In 2009, he joined MTN to manage operations in West and Central Africa.

His career within the group has been marked by notable successes: he was CEO of CANAL+ Mali in 2014, then of CANAL+ Côte d’Ivoire in 2017. Under his leadership, Côte d’Ivoire became the company’s third-largest market.

David Mignot expressed his confidence in Aziz Diallo’s skills, emphasizing that his expertise and knowledge of African markets will be instrumental in guiding Canal+ to further success on the continent.
