Aline Yonta Kengne was appointed CEO of BGFIBank Senegal in early February, succeeding Khady Boye Hanne, who had held the position since 2020.
Originally from Cameroon, Ms. Kengne spent most of her career within the BGFIBank Group, where she held several strategic and operational roles. Kengne possesses extensive experience to lead the bank in a rapidly changing African environment.
Shortly after her appointment, the new CEO led a delegation to meet with the administration of FONGIP (Priority Investment Guarantee Fund) in Senegal. The objective is to strengthen institutional partnerships and support local economic development.
