SCB Cameroon: Nabil Kadiri appointed CEO

Nabil Kadiri has been appointed Managing Director of Société Commerciale de Banque (SCB) Cameroon, a subsidiary of the Moroccan banking group Attijariwafa Bank.

The 52-year-old succeeds Frenchman Alexandre Beziaud, who led the bank since 2020 and contributed to its development in the Cameroonian market. His mission will be to continue the growth of SCB Cameroon, which has 620 employees, 54 branches, and more than 220,000 customers, in a competitive and digitalized environment.

A graduate in corporate finance, Kadiri has nearly thirty years of experience, including 24 years with Attijariwafa Bank. The new Managing Director has worked in credit, corporate banking, structured finance, and monitoring multinational companies, and has participated in the development of the group’s African network. Prior to this appointment, the Cameroonian was executive director of the international retail banking division and chaired several subsidiary boards of directors, experience that will allow him to adapt quickly to the Cameroonian market.
