Andrianaina Rabarisoa takes the helm of the EDBM

Andrianaina Rabarisoa has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Board of Madagascar (EDBM). A magistrate in the administrative courts and technical advisor to the President of the Refoundation of the Republic, he succeeds Joël Randriamandranto, who had held the position since the end of 2024.

With extensive experience in law and administrative justice, Rabarisoa brings to the EDBM his expertise in governance and public management. His appointment aims to strengthen the strategic direction of the agency, which is responsible for promoting investment and boosting the business climate in Madagascar.

Internationally, Rabarisoa participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), a U.S. State Department program designed to train foreign leaders. This framework notably received the 2023 Impact Award for its project Empowering Malagasy Judges to Promote the Rule of Law in Madagascar, which helped to strengthen the capacities of administrative judges and raise public awareness of administrative justice through forums, conferences and exchanges with civil society.
