Frederika Poussou has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Fair Trading Commission (FTC), effective May 1, 2025. Holding a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Seychelles and a Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management from Shannon College in Ireland, graduated with honors, Frederika Poussou has over 11 years of experience in both the private and public sectors.
Joining the FTC in April 2016 as an analyst, she has held several senior positions within the Commission. Prior to this appointment, she held the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer since June 2023, demonstrating strong management and leadership skills. Her primary mission is to strengthen regulation and ensure fair competition, thereby contributing to Seychelles’ economic growth.
