Afro-Arab Cultural Institute: Mohamed Ben Youssef is appointed Director General

Mohamed Ben Youssef has been appointed Director General of the Afro-Arab Cultural Institute (ICAA), headquartered in Bamako. This appointment is part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and exchanges between African and Arab countries, according to a statement from the Institute.

A Tunisian diplomat with over thirty years of experience, Mohamed Ben Youssef stated that he is proud to lead this international institution. He emphasized that his appointment reflects the desire of African and Arab leaders to promote solidarity and sustainable development between their regions.

Among his priorities, the new Director General plans to strengthen dialogue and mutual understanding, support educational and intellectual exchanges, and increase the Institute’s visibility. Ben Youssef also intends to highlight culture and the arts as drivers of integration and cooperation.
