Offering a range of pasta products
A pasta factory, Allo Food Factory, has just started its production. This noodle production line located in By Pass, in Avaradrano, occupies a strategic position for the economic development of the region.
The One District, One Factory (ODOF) project of the Ministry of Industrialization and Trade does not overlook the surrounding districts of Antananarivo. The organization has inaugurated a pasta manufacturing line. After successful technical trials, this factory will resume operations to produce noodles at a rate of four tons per day.
Allo Food Factory aims to first establish itself in the local market. According to Tania Ratsirahonana, « Our goal is to meet our customers’ expectations by offering a range of high-quality pasta products and to make these products competitive in the national market ». However, the company also plans to produce other essential foods for the daily life of the Malagasy people. Currently, six employees are working at the pasta factory in By Pass. However, due to the factory’s expansion plans, the management anticipates increasing the number of workers. The products manufactured by ODOF differ from imported items, particularly due to the unique added value that Malagasy producers bring to the finished products.
