Airtel and ESCM Lead the Way
Supporting young Malagasy people towards sustainable professional integration is at the heart of the new partnership signed between Airtel Madagascar and ESCM Business School.
Officially launched on January 27, 2026, in Antananarivo, this agreement aims to strengthen ties between the worlds of education and business, in order to better prepare students for the realities of the job market.
For Airtel Madagascar, this partnership symbolizes the importance given to youth and education, considered essential pillars of the country’s development. “Education is the foundation of national development, and Malagasy youth are already a driving force of economic and social dynamism,” declared Anne-Catherine Tchokonté, Managing Director of Airtel Madagascar.
Several concrete actions are planned within the framework of this collaboration. The company will install a connected room at ESCM, capable of accommodating up to 50 students. This room will be fully equipped and connected, offering free internet access to promote digital learning, research, and teamwork.
Furthermore, the partnership includes internships and work-study programs for students, as well as the organization of conferences, workshops, and practical case studies led by Airtel professionals. The company will also provide logistical support and sponsorship to encourage educational initiatives.
Jonathan Ranjatoelina, Director General of ESCM Business School, welcomed this collaboration. He believes this partnership is a real opportunity to bring students closer to the professional world while contributing to bridging the digital divide in Madagascar.
