MED is preparing the 7th edition of the National Entrepreneurs Forum

Towards a More Connected Economy

Nearly 300 entrepreneurs benefit each year from the training and support offered by Madagascar Entreprises Développement (MED).

This organization is preparing the 7th National Entrepreneurs Forum, scheduled for November 14th and 15th, under the theme: “**Entrepreneurship Differently: Driving Economic and Digital Transformation.”

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Industrialization and Private Sector Development, this forum brings together economic stakeholders, project leaders, and young entrepreneurs. According to the official press release, the objective is to stimulate the modernization of practices and place digital technology at the heart of development.

The “Digital Express Corner” occupies a central position. This space showcases technological tools designed to improve the management, communication, and productivity of local businesses. MED aims to encourage entrepreneurs to integrate digital technology into their strategies, reinvent their business models, and leverage innovation to adapt to market changes.

According to Landry Randriamanantena, Executive Director of the organization, digital technology fosters the competitiveness and resilience of Malagasy businesses. He encourages young people to believe in their abilities and dare to take entrepreneurial approaches. “The MED is expanding its training programs to strengthen skills, support projects, and foster the growth of local initiatives,” he stated.

Despite this momentum, many young people still lack confidence and face obstacles in launching their businesses. “The forum aims to address these gaps by creating a space for exchange and sharing of experiences. Entrepreneurs, public institutions, investors, and technical partners are collaborating to build an environment conducive to innovation,” he added.

Over two days, participants will attend conferences, participate in practical workshops, and present their projects to experts. These meetings pave the way for new partnerships and strengthen the country’s entrepreneurial network.
