Serge Mian has been appointed CEO of African Guarantee Fund (AGF West Africa), effective November 3, 2025, the fund’s Board of Directors announced. An experienced investment banker, he has over 20 years of international experience in the financial sector.
Prior to his appointment, Mian served as Director of Investments and Investor Relations at Orabank, where he led fundraising and strategic projects. He has worked at renowned institutions such as JP Morgan, Deloitte France, EY, and AXA Investment Managers in the United States. These experiences have allowed him to develop strong skills in mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, and risk management.
In his new role, Mian will lead the AGF West Africa team to develop its business in West Africa, oversee operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive business expansion with new products.
