Paul McGuigan has been appointed Head of Distribution for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at Allianz Commercial. He will assume his new role on April 6, 2026.

This appointment is part of the group’s reorganization to strengthen its presence in strategic markets and bring the company closer to its customers and partners.

Reporting to Jeremy Sharpe, Head of Distribution, Paul McGuigan will be responsible for coordinating commercial activities in the EMEA region, which represents nearly half of the group’s revenue. He will ensure the consistency of strategies and the effectiveness of teams across all markets.

With over twenty years of experience in the financial and insurance sectors, Paul McGuigan has recognized expertise in distribution and network management. His international background allows him to understand local issues while maintaining a global perspective.
