Marvellous Rukundu has been appointed Chief Executive: Retail Director of Old Mutual Insure, a subsidiary of the South African Old Mutual Group.

A graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand and Stellenbosch Business School, Rukundu is also certified by the Society of Actuaries. He has over ten years of experience at Old Mutual Insure. Since 2015, he has held several senior positions, contributing to the development of insurance products and the improvement of services for retail customers.

His knowledge of the insurance sector and his expertise in risk management make him a strategic choice to lead Old Mutual Insure’s Retail network. The company emphasizes that this promotion demonstrates the importance of developing internal talent and ensuring strong leadership.

In his new role, Marvellous Rukundu will be tasked with driving network growth, strengthening customer relationships and supporting the operational performance of the subsidiary in South Africa and beyond.
