Ecotourism Fair: stakeholders and professionals gathered in Mayotte

Awareness culture and traditions at the heart of the event

On Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Rue du Commerce in Dzaoudzi-Labattoir, the Petite-Terre Tourist Office is organizing the third edition of the Ecotourism Fair.

The day will begin with awareness sessions on nature protection in Petite-Terre. Visitors will be able to discover the actions of local associations and stakeholders working to preserve biodiversity. The fair also brings together tourism professionals: hotels, restaurants, water, land, and air activities.

Local artisans and producers will also be present. All are committed to promoting environmentally friendly tourism and local traditions. The program also features cultural events with traditional songs and dances. These performances provide an opportunity to discover the culture of the area. The Tourist Office explains that this fair helps promote the region’s natural and cultural heritage.

This event aims to create connections between residents, visitors, and industry professionals. This third edition will be a wonderful opportunity to spend a friendly day, better understand the importance of protecting nature, and discover the riches of Petite-Terre.
