METFP-Bianco: Launch of the second phase of public recruitment

A Process Under the Sign of Transparency

The Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training (METFP) is launching a second phase of public recruitment, following an initial round for temporary teachers.

This new operation now includes other positions within the sector, notably 356 graduates from ENSET (National School of Technical Education) as well as volunteers from schools, for a total of 606 available budgeted positions.

The recruitment, recently held at the Mahamasina Technical and Vocational Training High School (LTPGC), involved ministry officials, regional directors, and representatives from the Independent Anti-Corruption Bureau (BIANCO). To simplify and centralize administrative procedures, a “one-stop shop” system was established with the support of partners and unions.

BIANCO is monitoring and overseeing the process to ensure its transparency. Selection criteria include seniority, academic qualifications, specialization, age, and the number of teaching hours taught by candidates.

According to Minister Todisoa Andriamampandry, this recruitment campaign primarily aims to address the shortage of teachers and staff in the technical and vocational education sector. “What the people are asking for is transparency and open procedures,” he stated.
