Rindra Hasimbelo Rabarinirinarison takes the helm of the GCA

Rindra Hasimbelo Rabarinirinarison has been appointed CEO of the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA), an international organization that supports solutions to address climate change.

Rindra Hasimbelo has extensive experience. She served as Madagascar’s Minister of Economy and Finance from 2021 to 2025, where she led significant reforms in budget management, transparency, and economic development. Prior to that, she held key positions within the Ministry of Finance, including Secretary General and Chair of the National Public Procurement Commission, overseeing public procurement and the country’s economic policies.

She has also represented Madagascar at international institutions such as the World Bank and has been recognized as one of Africa’s top 25 finance leaders for her leadership.
