Mahamadi Rouamba, CEO of TICANALYSE, has been appointed an expert to the Africa CDC’s Primary Healthcare Digitalization Committee, effective December 1, 2025. He joins 28 specialists from various African countries and beyond to support the modernization of primary healthcare across the continent.
The committee’s role is to guide countries in the digitalization of healthcare services, propose practical tools, and foster coordination between governments and technical partners. The goal is to make healthcare systems more robust, accessible, and responsive to the needs of the population.
Mahamadi Rouamba brings over ten years of experience in this field. As CEO of TICANALYSE, he developed the mHealth platform for Burkina Faso in 2016, enabling the collection of community health data, and then, in 2022, for the financial management of Health Centers and Medical Centers with Surgical Units. This project earned the Burkinabe ministry the Pierre Fabre Foundation prize in 2019. Today, mHealth is used in several African countries to improve local healthcare.
