Groupe ENL proudly announces the appointment of Gilbert Espitalier-Noël as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Hector Espitalier-Noel, who expressed his intention to retire upon reaching the age of 65.

The decision to appoint Gilbert Espitalier-Noël as Chairman of the Group was formally ratified by the ENL Board of Directors on October 10, with his term of office officially beginning on July 1, 2023. Hector Espitalier-Noël has diligently steered ENL for 33 years, orchestrating its transformation from a traditional family enterprise into a vibrant, contemporary, and diversified conglomerate. Today, the group stands tall among Mauritius’s top ten listed companies.

Gilbert Espitalier-Noël currently holds the position of head of New Mauritius Hotels. He is an alumnus of the University of Cape Town, Louisiana State University, and INSEAD. With a wealth of experience in business management, real estate project development, and fostering partnerships between the private and public sectors, he is poised to lead Groupe ENL into its next chapter of growth and innovation.
