Francis Rabarijohn, currently serving as the Managing Director of Imperial Brands, has taken over the presidency of the Groupement des Entreprises de Madagascar (GEM) as the new President, succeeding Thierry Rajaona.
Mr. Francis Rabarijohn was appointed following a vote by members on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, winning 59 votes compared to 24 for the outgoing President. His term will last for two years, from 2024 to 2026. The GEM expects the new President to bring his vision and professional experience to the helm of the organization, supporting the economic development of Madagascar.
