The Chamber of Mines of Madagascar announced the appointment of Carl Andriamparany as Executive Secretary on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. This association brings together industrial mining companies and corporations. In his new role, Carl Andriamparany succeeds Willy Ranjatoelina and will be responsible for the daily management of the Chamber.

Carl Andriamparany brings significant experience to the position, having previously served as Secretary General of the executive ministry of the Chamber of Mines and Petroleum in 2016. Additionally, he has worked as Director General of Studies and Development at the Ministry of Mines. He has also chaired the Commission of Major Mining Investments of Madagascar (CGIM) and served as interim general manager of the Institute of Gemmology of Madagascar (IGM).
