Fanja Razakaboana has been appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of the University of Antananarivo, bringing fresh energy and dynamic leadership to the institution. With over twenty years of experience in entrepreneurship and leadership, she founded and has chaired the Group of Women Entrepreneurs of Madagascar (GFEM) since 2016.
The new Chair also serves as Vice-President of the Antananarivo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIA) and represents Southern Africa within the global network of Women Business Leaders (FCEM). An ambassador for Global Women Leaders in Madagascar, Razakaboana heads the NGO Madagascar Women in Action, which supports the socio-economic empowerment of girls and women.
