Creating a community of digital talent
On July 10, during the DigiTalent 3.0 launch ceremony in Port-Louis, Huawei Technologies unveiled its commitment to develop 4,000 ICT profiles over the next four years.
These digital initiatives encompass the Huawei ICT Academy, Huawei’s Seeds for the Future program, training for government officials, digitalization courses for small and medium-sized enterprises, and educational programs in digital skills.
Huawei remains dedicated to investing in ICT skills transfer and talent development. The DigiTalent program, designed to address the country’s digital workforce needs, aims to foster a culture of digital leadership and cultivate a proficient ICT workforce.
The goal is to nurture a community of digital talent and enhance citizens’ access to emerging technologies. Huawei first introduced its DigiTalent program in Mauritius two years ago, offering training and employment opportunities to young Mauritians.
