Showcasing the Mauritian Ecosystem

Encouraging buyers and construction experts to choose sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions. The second season of the « Building Better with Less » conference will be organized by Transinvest Construction Ltd on July 19, 2024.

Energy transition experts, including architects, engineers, builders, and bankers, will address the challenges of sustainable and eco-friendly housing. Participants will examine the financial challenges associated with low-carbon construction and present improved designs as well as innovative technical solutions.

The building sector is the main emitter of CO₂ worldwide, particularly due to the amount of energy it uses and the environmental impact caused by its construction and maintenance. Reducing carbon emissions in this sector remains a major challenge for the future of our environment and society.

The organizers of this conference aim to raise awareness and promote more environmentally friendly design by highlighting innovative and sustainable solutions. The second season of « Building Better with Less » will offer the opportunity to discuss climate, energy expenses, legal changes, eco-design, new materials, and financing, showcasing the Mauritian ecosystem.

Bertrand Hanauer, CEO of Transinvest, states, « We continue our efforts to promote more responsible construction through the organization of this new conference. With our partners, we are pleased to contribute to the necessary shift towards a more economical and environmentally friendly future ».
