Coca-Cola chose Habibo for bottling operations

Continued partnerships with local suppliers for Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola, the American beverage giant, has recently announced its selection of the Habibo Group as the exclusive bottling partner for its products in Madagascar.

This decision signifies Coca-Cola’s commitment to fostering enduring partnerships with independent bottlers and aims to fortify its presence on the island. Coca-Cola has chosen the Habibo Group’s subsidiary, Habibo Beverages, as its sole bottling entity in Madagascar to solidify its collaboration further.

This strategic decision reflects Coca-Cola’s dedication to adapting to each market’s unique dynamics while nurturing stronger ties with local providers. Effective February 1st, 2024, Habibo Beverages will assume full responsibility for producing, distributing, and promoting Coca-Cola, Fanta, and Sprite beverages across the island. Specifically, these iconic beverages will now be produced locally in both 350-ml and 1.5-liter formats, marking a significant shift in the sourcing of Coca-Cola products in Madagascar.

Leveraging Coca-Cola’s established principles and methodologies, Habibo is committed to delivering quality-centric service while executing a market-driven approach. This decision to entrust exclusive bottling operations to the Habibo Group underscores Coca-Cola’s enduring commitment to the Malagasy market while simultaneously recognizing the importance of accommodating local nuances to foster sustainable partnerships.
