CCIFM – SIM : Boosting Madagascar’s Economy Together

Enhancing the competitiveness of Malagasy companies

A partnership agreement was signed between the France-Madagascar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFM) and the Syndicate of Industries in Madagascar (SIM) to support the industrial sector in Madagascar.

This agreement aims to enhance the competitiveness of Malagasy companies while fostering economic progress in the country. The two organizations commit to collaborating on shared projects and hosting joint events focused on the transfer of resources and expertise. Key initiatives include training programs, mentorship, networking opportunities, and funding mobilization. The goal is to create opportunities for their members and encourage innovation.

This partnership also seeks to strengthen synergies among companies. Promoting local production through SIM’s « Malagasy ny Antsika » label aligns with the mission of the CCIFM, which facilitates relationships between Madagascar and its international partners. According to the CCIFM President, this agreement will enable Malagasy businesses to structure themselves better and access new markets. SIM President Tiana Rasaminanana emphasized the importance of fostering industrial development for the nation’s economic future.

With 450 members and 20 years of experience, the CCIFM connects local businesses to an international network of 35,000 companies. Meanwhile, SIM, which represents 138 industrial stakeholders, advocates for an investment-friendly climate and the promotion of local industries.
