Promoting sustainable and inclusive economic development
The International Trade Fair for Madagascar’s Economic Players (SIAE) is taking place for the third time from June 5 to 8 at the Canal Olympia Andohatapenaka. This year, the event is placing a strong emphasis on B-to-B meetings.
The SIAE envisions sustainable and inclusive economic development. Each year, it brings together diverse economic players to foster business development and cooperation, promoting “Made in Madagascar” and accelerating exchanges between private and public sectors.
This year’s emphasis on B-to-B meetings aims to create strategic collaborations through direct interactions. Nathalie Nirinarivelo, Managing Director of Riano Agency, highlighted this shift: “Previous editions focused on sales at exhibitions, but this year we are concentrating on B-to-B meetings to form strategic partnerships through direct exchanges.” This approach aims to help local companies access essential information on foreign markets and encourage international partnerships.
The SIAE is pivotal in opening up Madagascar’s economy to the world, offering a unique platform for exchanges, discussions, and business opportunities between Madagascar, the Indian Ocean, the African continent, and other global regions.
