Showcasing the potential of Madagascar’s industries

The ODOF Ambatondrazaka industrial unit is now promoting its Lycoper products on the local market. These products are available through the supermarket network.

Lycoper products are now available in supermarkets across the island, including in Antananarivo, Mahajanga, and Toliara. Initial deliveries began this week. The ODOF plant in Ambatondrazaka is responsible for producing the tomato ketchup, which can now be found in various stores, including Score boutiques.

According to the plant manager, both the prices and quality of the products will remain consistent. A bottle of processed ketchup is priced at approximately 2,700 ariary (about 0.60 USD). The Ambatondrazaka facility processes between 250 and 300 tonnes of tomatoes daily, ensuring that there will be no risk of stock shortages even with increased production.

This large-scale production allows the Lycoper plant to meet demand effectively. The ODOF Ambatondrazaka cooperative sources tomatoes from seven surrounding cooperatives. By doing so, ODOF enhances the visibility of Malagasy industries, creates jobs, and adds value to local products. The Lycoper factory aims to attract international customers with its offerings.
