Fulgence Ndagijimana appointed CEO of CAFS

Fulgence Ndagijimana has been appointed Executive Director of the Communauté des Afriques Francophones de la Saskatchewan (CAFS). This position, created in the spring to support the CAFS’s expansion, follows the receipt of $70,000 (USD 51,100) in funding from Canadian Heritage.

“This is a tremendous boost for our community. It’s a major step forward, following our tenth anniversary celebration. For us, it’s a sign of the organization’s longevity,” emphasizes Céline Moukoumi, President of CAFS.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and currently pursuing a master’s degree in the philosophy of multiculturalism at the University of Saskatchewan, the expert already has experience supporting newcomers to facilitate their integration. His academic background and community involvement perfectly reflect the association’s values.
