A Togolese expert at the vice-presidency of UQAM

Christian Agbobli has been appointed Vice-President of the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM).

This Togolese native has a distinguished background in the social sciences and humanities, arts, and literature. Holding a bachelor’s degree in foreign literature and civilizations from the University of Poitiers, the expert continued his studies in Quebec, where he earned a master’s degree and a doctorate in communication.

A professor in the Department of Social and Public Communication at UQAM, the researcher led the Study and Research Group on International and Intercultural Communication. Agbobli is internationally recognized and regularly invited to lecture at universities in Europe, the Americas, and Africa.
