Serge Atikossie takes over as head of Bank of Africa Rwanda

Serge Atikossie has been appointed Managing Director of Bank of Africa Rwanda, a strategic subsidiary of the BOA Group. At 38, this Togolese executive has taken the helm of the bank after a remarkable career, recognized within the Group.

Having joined BOA in 2014 as a junior accountant, Atikossie quickly rose through the ranks thanks to his expertise and rigor. As a financial analyst, risk manager, and then Director of the Finance Division, he has held key positions in complex environments. His rise reflects recognized expertise, forged in the field and through exposure to the realities of the sector.

Educated in Lomé, Paris, Montreal, and Frankfurt, the Managing Director holds degrees from the University of Lomé, HEC Paris, HEC Montréal, and the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. This solid academic background supports a successful career.

A humanist and strategist, Serge Atikossie stands out for his ability to unite, his listening skills, and his commitment. In Kigali, his mission will be to strengthen BOA Rwanda’s local presence and manage its regional performance.
