Tobias Suek has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of SanlamAllianz Re, the reinsurance subsidiary of SanlamAllianz, based in Moka, Mauritius.

His appointment builds on more than 18 years of experience in insurance and reinsurance, with a track record marked by strategic leadership and a commitment to innovative solutions.

A dual German and French national, the expert has extensive international experience. Since 2007, Suek has held several key positions within Allianz. Since August 2023, he has led Global Lines at Allianz Re, overseeing reinsurance programs for Allianz Commercial, Allianz Trade, and Allianz Partners. He also led the integration of artificial intelligence solutions into underwriting.

During his career, Tobias Suek has held positions as a customer service manager and senior project manager. Its action has enabled the development of a standardized and centralized operational model, streamlining the group’s reinsurance activities and strengthening operational efficiency.
