Oudou Nsangou, a recognized expert in the energy sector, has been appointed Managing Director of EDF upOwa, with the mission of electrifying 9 million Cameroonians by 2027.
The new CEO has more than ten years of experience in major African companies. At Bboxx EDF Togo, this expert developed innovative solutions to electrify isolated rural areas through pay-as-you-go systems. His background also includes key positions at Guinness Cameroon and BAT, strengthening his strategic management skills. A graduate of HEC Paris and the University of Suffolk, with research in artificial intelligence applied to energy, Nsangou brings a fresh vision.
Under his leadership, EDF upOwa aims to create a sustainable energy ecosystem, combining training for local technicians and community partnerships, to accelerate the energy transition in Cameroon.
