Orkun Saruhanoglu has been appointed DHL Supply Chain’s first Regional Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa.
A recognized expert with nearly thirty years of experience at DHL, Orkun Saruhanoglu led operations in Turkey and Central and Eastern Europe. Saruhanoglu developed services for the automotive industry, built strong partnerships, and opened new markets. He also led the ASMO partnership with Aramco, aimed at improving logistics services in the Gulf.
His mission is to develop DHL Supply Chain in sectors such as aerospace, energy, e-commerce, fashion, and luxury goods. The Managing Director will optimize existing operations, attract new customers, and strengthen logistics infrastructure, particularly in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
