Omar Layachi: New CEO of GoMyCode Morocco

Omar Layachi has been appointed Managing Director of GoMyCode Morocco, marking a new milestone in his career dedicated to youth, innovation, and entrepreneurship in North Africa.

Co-founder of the Next Gen Employer label and advisor to startups such as Smartprof, Layachi is also the local leader of the Founder Institute.

With his experience leading partnerships at École Centrale Casablanca and developing HEC Executive Education programs in Africa, the new CEO has built strong bridges between higher education, business, and innovation. At the helm of GoMyCode Morocco, the entrepreneur intends to strengthen the startup’s network of hackerspaces and forge strategic partnerships with public and private stakeholders. His mission is to offer hybrid digital training that is accessible and adapted to local needs, in a context where the Moroccan tech ecosystem is experiencing strong growth.

Founded in 2017 in Tunis, GoMyCode is present in more than eight countries and trains thousands of learners each year in key digital skills. With Omar Layachi, the startup confirms its pan-African ambition, making Morocco a strategic hub for digital innovation.
