Olivier Sautel is appointed Chief Economist at Deloitte France and French-speaking Africa An economics expert, Sautel has over fifteen years of experience in economic impact assessment and public policy analysis.
Holding a PhD in economics from the University of Nice and the CNRS, the expert also completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the French Economic Observatory (OFCE). After an initial stint at Microeconomix, the new manager joined Deloitte in 2017, where his expertise quickly became indispensable. In this strategic role, the Chief Economist will manage macroeconomic modeling tools, produce economic scenarios, and ensure strategic monitoring of key indicators. Olivier Sautel will also support major public stakeholders such as the Ministry of the Economy, Bpifrance, and ADEME (French Agency for Economic Cooperation and Development) in developing policies related to innovation, competitiveness, and the ecological transition.
