Mohammed Amin El Hajhouj has been appointed Deputy Managing Director (DGA) of CDG Développement, a subsidiary of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion dedicated to integrated territorial development in Morocco.
The civil engineering expert, who graduated top of his class at the Hassania School of Public Works in 1992, has over thirty years of experience in implementing structural and sustainable projects. The new DGA held strategic positions at the Moroccan National Highway Company before joining the CDG Group.
As head of the Zenata Development Company, Hajhouj oversaw the construction of Africa’s first eco-city, recognized for its sustainable and inclusive approach. He then headed INEE, a subsidiary developing energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions as part of the CAP 2030 plan.
Within CDG Développement’s Expertise Strategic Business Unit, Hajhouj will coordinate several subsidiaries in the fields of engineering, consulting, digital technology, and sustainable development, strengthening the Group’s ability to design and implement high-impact projects.
