Microsoft: Naim Yazbeck takes over as head of MEA operations

Naim Yazbeck has been appointed President of Microsoft for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

An engineer by training, the expert has been with the company since 2009 and has established himself as a key player in the company’s development in this strategic region. Prior to this appointment, the new leader led the company’s operations in the United Arab Emirates. Drawing on his experience, Yazbeck built a solid reputation by collaborating with local governments and businesses on major projects, strengthening Microsoft’s presence in the region.

Under his leadership, Microsoft entered into a strategic partnership with G42, an artificial intelligence company based in Abu Dhabi. This alliance aims to promote the adoption of cloud computing and artificial intelligence, stimulating innovation and the development of digital infrastructure in these territories.
