Kwame Senou has been appointed Regional Advisor for West and Central Africa by the international communications agency Edelman, according to a press release dated May 14, 2025. This appointment is part of the creation of Edelman Regional Advisory (ERA), a pan-African unit dedicated to strategic consulting.
Founder and Executive Director of the Abidjan-based agency THOP (The Holding Opinion and Public), Kwame Senou has established himself as one of the leading figures in marketing and communications in French-speaking Africa. He has worked with multinationals such as Facebook, Unilever, MTN, Brown Forman, and Moov Africa, as well as with the European Union and the Government of Benin.
A former journalist and senior executive at HMG, a subsidiary of Omnicom Media Group, Senou combines operational expertise with strategic vision. A graduate in business law, Senou furthered his skills through training at Harvard Business School and the Wharton School.
Active in international professional organizations, he serves on the advisory board of the African Public Relations Association (APRA), representing the West African region, thus confirming his role as an influential leader in the sector.
