Jesa: Mohamed Hettiti appointed Chief Operating Officer

His return to OCP Africa in 2018 marked a key milestone, consolidating the group’s presence on the African continent and expanding its strategic influence. At Jesa, headed by Abdelilah Bouzian, Mohamed Hettiti’s appointment reflects the group’s commitment to continuing its development and expansion. The company, owned equally by OCP and the Australian Worley, employs 6,000 people and exceeded a turnover of one billion euros in 2024, confirming its leading position in the sector.

An engineer by training, he has extensive experience in the mining and industrial sectors. His career began at the Jorf Lasfar industrial complex, where he held positions as an engineer and then as a project manager, participating in strategic projects for the group. In 2010, Hettiti joined Jacobs Engineering Group, which later became part of Jesa, where he led major mineral exploitation and transportation projects, strengthening his skills in operational and logistics management.

Mohamed Hettiti has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Jesa in Casablanca.
