Hajar Alafifi has been appointed Managing Director of OCP Africa, a subsidiary of the OCP Group.

A graduate of the National School of Commerce and Management in Casablanca, she has over twenty years of experience at Unilever. Alafifi led Unilever’s subsidiary in Sri Lanka, becoming the first Moroccan to hold this position, and then oversaw nutrition operations for Southeast Asia and Indonesia.

She also served as Vice President of the Sun, Domestos, and CIF brands and led brand development in Europe. Her international career has taken her to several countries, including Morocco, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia.

The Board of Directors notes that Hajar Alafifi will bring her expertise in transformation, growth, and sustainable development. Mohamed Hettiti, who has been acting as interim Director in recent months, has ensured operational continuity and the monitoring of strategic projects.
