Nick Barigye has been appointed Managing Director of Crystal Ventures Ltd (CVL), one of Rwanda’s largest investment groups. This new CEO succeeds Jack Kayonga, who has held the position since 2020, and returns to the company, where he previously held senior management positions between 2008 and 2014.

Prior to this return, the finance expert headed Rwanda Finance Limited, the development arm of the Kigali International Financial Centre (KIFC). Under his leadership, KIFC became a major pan-African financial center, attracting international investment and forging partnerships with financial centers such as Luxembourg, Jersey, and Singapore.

With over 15 years of experience in the financial and investment sector in Africa, the new CEO of CVL holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Strathmore Business School in Kenya and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the National University of Rwanda.
