Imad Ghammad has taken over as Managing Director of COSUMAR in Morocco, effective immediately. He succeeds Hassan Mounir, who is stepping down for health reasons after forty years of service to the Group and the Moroccan sugar industry.
Since joining COSUMAR in 2006, Ghammad has held several strategic positions and joined the Executive Committee in 2010. In December 2023, he assumed the role of Deputy Managing Director. The new CEO has led major transformation projects, modernized operations, and optimized industrial performance to strengthen the Group’s overall efficiency.
This appointment is in line with the company’s strategic priorities, including strengthening partnerships, improving industrial competitiveness, and ensuring sustainable supply. The Board of Directors expressed its confidence in Ghammad’s skills and wished him every success in his new role.
