Nellie Coopoosamy has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the National Tender Board in Seychelles, effective September 1, 2025, according to an announcement from the President’s Office.
Holding a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Derby in the United Kingdom, the CEO has 24 years of experience in the private and public sectors. Her career began in 2001 at Nouvobanq as a bank clerk, before joining the Ministry of Finance in 2004, where she was promoted successively: financial analyst in 2010, senior analyst in 2013 and again in 2018.
In 2019, Coopoosamy was appointed Director of Public Budget Management, a strategic position that strengthened her expertise in steering national finances. In 2021, her experience was complemented by a position as financial controller within the Seychelles Defence Force, ensuring rigorous monitoring of public resources.
