Sokhna Maïmouna Diop has been appointed Managing Director of NSIA Banque Sénégal, effective next August. The new manager will take the helm as the Senegalese branch is being transformed into a subsidiary of the NSIA Group, a major player in bancassurance in West Africa.

Prior to this appointment, the Deputy Managing Director in charge of Operations at CBAO – Attijariwafa Bank Group, Senegal’s leading bank, acquired extensive experience. Arriving in 2012 as Director of Strategy and Management Control, the new manager quickly progressed to key positions: Executive Director in charge of Finance and Strategy, then Deputy Managing Director with extensive responsibilities for operations and transformation.

The finance expert began her career in 2005 at Deloitte in France, before joining Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in Paris and London, strengthening her international profile.
